Barely Holding OnLaying here
Underneath a moonless
Sky,
Reminds me of your absence.
Though so many stars,
Are here tonight,
You fail to show.
I slow my breaths.
Deeply they plunge.
Like the color of the night.
Holding on,
To the blades of the grass
Beneath me.
I try
To keep
Myself
Pinned
To this world.
And if I hadn't,
I think I might've left.
It's overwhelming,
To be beneath
Such a vast creature.
I am pinned
Here.
Watching her.
A moonless animal.
Quietly waiting
Your return.
And sadly,
I'll lay here.
My head turned,
Towards where you
Shall take your place beside me.
But hurry.
Because my h

EmptyI am rumbling
full of air and ideas
churning, growing
picking up bits and pieces
of thoughts ignored
making itself heard.

Overwhelmed by one need
I am high on empty.
I feel my limbs get lighter
and I step off the ground.
I am floating
behind glass
and I can look at myself clearly
examining
later I will poke and prod and press down
and no one can touch me.

Everything arranged
evenly
shining
I can see a map of possibilities
it is limitless perfection.

Here is control
Here is power
but eventually I have to plant my feet on solid ground
and step out from behind
the glass.

Do you believe in waiting for someone

Who you know you'll be with forever?

Do you compete to not be outdone

By the ones who always do better?

Do you have the perseverance to climb

Higher than the highest plains?

Can you lend an extra eye for the blind

Who accidentally boarded the wrong train?

Can you stand up for the ones who are

Being harassed by those with fail

To realize that life enough is hard

And so we should gather together and prevail?

Can you see beyond the hills?

The trees? The forests? The sky?

Can you find a way to muster the will

To lie to me with honest eyes?

Can you tell me your deepest secret

Whispered wordsJust a few words whispered to you
In your ear is what I want to do
Words you have heard often now
and you keep hearing if you allow

Words I will repeat and repeat
Every one for you a treat
You know what you will again hear
The words I whisper in your ear

Spoken soft and slow
My voice creaking low
They are only a few
I whisper: "I love you"

The Way She SmilesThere is something in the way she smiles
that makes my heart skip a beat.
Her eyes sparkle when she talks and I
imagine they're shining only for me.

When she rests her head on her hand
and stares into space, I want to cry.
Pretending she's daydreaming of me,
what a gift, her beauty so pure and true.

Her sweet lips so full and soft and pink,
they are just begging to be kissed.
And I want to give her every pleasure,
make all her wishes, wants, desires true.

"Look at me" I whisper, wishing to myself
she doesn't hear me, she doesn't notice.
If only she saw, if only she could know
the way I would love her if I had the chance.

Just another love poemThis is quite informal,
But let me say it here.
This poem is about
What I hold most dear.

A few simple words from him
Can make me feel so glad.
And when he insults me,
I don't even feel that mad.

I'm the girl who made the vow -
To never fall for someone.
My heart once woven tightly,
Has suddenly become undone.

ChemistryIn chemistry we learn about the elements:
Iodine, hydrogen, sodium and chlorine.
Formulae on the board; notes on my desk
I don't know what half of these things mean.

The period drags by, I'm daydreaming again
Doodling your name in a heart on my diary.
The teacher drones on, I don't hear a thing
My head full of another kind of chemistry...

This chemistry is explosive, corrosive, toxic ~
A spontaneous reaction, no catalyst required.
The two highly reactive elements that collide
One little spark and our hearts were on fire.

I could hear your runaway pulse as we hugged;
Could feel the sparks whenever we were close.
Joined by an ioni

Kissing Secret

Be still, be still and close your eyes
Do not peek, it's a surprise

The cold hand clouded her sky blue eyes
She bit her lip and felt revived

Shhh, my dear, do not speak
She smiled softly with a squeak

She felt a breath upon her cheek
She ruffled her jumper above her feet

A peck tickled across her dimple
The kiss so small, yet sweet and simple

Oh, but sweetie, your aim is weak
You missed the spot, but reached my cheek

The hands sneaked around her waist
To trap her body just in case;

The kiss makes her lose her all
To carry her in case she falls

Soon she begins to flush and sway
As the kiss heads her way

InsanityI sit and I watch
The clock go tick tock
It reminds me how the door has a lock,
To keep me in here.
For I showed all my fear.

All my inner insanities.
I told them of the ghosts I see
The ghosts of passed ones that had belonged to me.
I told them of all the dead ones.
Of danger and of guns.

My past experiences crowd my thoughts.
Of dead people and how the war rages on
On and on and on, even though its already won.
All I have is my past
And of how I am the last.

The last of my loved ones
I am left here alone
While they all corrode to bone.
All the while I go insane
Living with the dead loved ones, wars, and the victims I have

Synchronized HeartsWe weep for wounds not yet born
We predict the patterns of storms long gone
Only after it's concrete, do we mourn
We live life expecting the next dawn

We ask for truth yet prefer the lies
We pity the foolish and decry the wise
We sketch blueprints for mountains we can't make
We dismay over bad and think all good is fake

To each his own, we've our selfish desires
The beauty of destruction is all too sought out
We dream for the stars, but settle for fires
We louden cacophonies to silence any doubt

So caught up in answering questions not asked yet,
We die with only one lasting regret-
We know not of who we've become.

"I HATE them!
They're mean,
They're gross,
They're horrible in every way!"

"You won't think like that forever," mother tells me.

Yes I will.
I hate boys.
I will always hate boys.
In the end when I'm a shriveled up old lady with boobs down to her knees and frizzy white hair I WILL STILL HATE BOYS,
And that will never change.

Why did you have to be an exception?
I was perfectly happy being hateful before you came along (no I wasn't)
And you only made it worse by being wonderful.

"I hate boys," I'd say, "with the exception of one."
That was an unacceptable statement.
How come you had to be fantas

Ink eternal
I can't remember, the last time
I felt moss growing beneath my
Finger tips. A soft blanket,
Alive and breathing,
My comfort, my dear.
You asked me, once if I could
Predict the future,
And change our plans,
I saved you; once
And yet I lied. You know
Its easier that way.
More, Magnanimous.
Wildflowers spread,
Up my legs, curling
Around my calves,
A living tattoo.

I was strange that way,
a Part of nature,
Part of you.

We found you,
For a reason you see,
For you; I knew. Would
write, about my beauty,
My flaws,
And note them down, in
Ink eternal.
In script as sharp
As my tongue.

Unconditional Love

I don't know what the future has in store,
whether we'll be together or not,
this thought in my mind,
often does roar.

What we desire,
is almost impossible,
and this my dear,
is so discernible.

But,
what i know now,
is that I Love You!,
and just want to be with you somehow.

IdentityIt seems as if we continually have to make a change,
an eternal desire to find something for which we be exchanged.

Is perfection something to strive for?
Or will we always be left wanting more?

Perhaps it is flaws that give a sense of uniqueness.
But will we ever be content if flaws continued to be viewed as a weakness?

I refuse to be viewed as a project, with fixations needed.
A self alteration is something to never be conceded.

When I view myself, I will not experience a feeling of ambiguity,
Instead, I will experience a sense of pride with my identity.

Its amazing how the greatest people in our lives look so normal to us. Then when we lose them, we then realize how amazing they were.
I like it. I like the rhythm of this poem. Its really cool. You seem to be good at this would you mind looking at a bit of my stuff.
